The Opal Flight

They have control over the four elements. The white (air) and blue(water) are the most common, but there can be some red, orange(fire),or even black, purple, or brown (earth) Opal Dragons. They each make sure the elements remain balanced. Their “breath” can vary per Dragon: frost for Water, Cloud/mist for Air, Magma/stone for Earth, and Fire for... Fire.

General appearence for an Opal Dragon is milky white with a tinge of blue, Scales gleam like opals in the light, slim bodies, but built/bulky around the limbs. Their tails have a fish-like fin (think Netherwing Drakes) at the tip. Their claws are crystalline and sparkle like the opal color they are. Their horns are pearlescent and curl/twist and they have no more than three on each side. Their bellies would be a darker color than their scales, have the feeling of sandstone, the older the Dragon, the more opalescent veins visible on their bellies. Their wings are long, the webbing connecting to their tails. The eyes of Opal Dragons vary, but some are either gold or blue, sometimes silver with the opal-shimmer to them.

In their mortal forms, Opal Dragons choose olive-dark toned skin, only a few choose pale or ivory-toned skins. Their hair is always light colored, unless they are a black or red opal dragon, then they are the matching color with colorful streaks to mimic an opal. They limit their visible horns down to the normal two, and much like their dragon form appear pearlescent, but take on the texture of their scales. While in their humanoid form, they have the opal of their color on their forehead, about the size of a key lime.

Female Opal dragons carry the prefix of iona, while males carry ion for theirs.

They spent most of their time on the many islands and land masses scattered between the four continents, only recently coming to the four main landmasses as of the Cataclysm when the elements became unbalanced.

Their “Aspect” or  Alpha-female is known to be the largest. She is milky-white with a ice-blue belly nearly covered with veins of opal. The webbing of her wings are golden gossamer, shimmering likes opals in the sun, same goes for her tail. Her claws and and three horns are like opals themselves. Her eyes are a mix between blue and purple. She is graceful with her movements. She is often seen decorated in silver and gold jewelary, but only when there is something special occuring within her flight. Her Draconic breath is a white mist, but holds the properties of ice, earth, fire, and sun, it also shimmers like the opal itself.

Her mortal form is that of a human woman, about the height of a Vrykul (like most of her flight, but like all the Azeroth dragons, they can pick any race). She has shimmering silver-white hair, in the sun, it has a opal-shimmer, reaching just below her rear. Her skin is the color of ivory. She is slim, but plump around the waist and thighs. She wears a blue gossamer veil on the lower portion of her face, connecting to her horns (the largest, center). She tends to wear a lot of loose, flowing garments, making her have an ethereal appearence.

Her name is only known to those who have been around as long as she, most just call her “The mother” or simply “Opal” But truly, her name is: Albiona

Their homeland or Sanctum looks like Skywall, with ornate gold roofed buildings, ivory stone, clouds that swirl and shimmer, yes like opal. The earth itself has eternal dew on the grass, trees, and flowers. There are bubbling brooks leading to ponds with waterfalls. The egg of an opal Dragon is smooth and has a stone-like texture. It's milky-white and roughly the size of a watermelon (they are small)
